If your tracking status says that your order was delivered but you cannot find your package, give it a few days and do your best not to stress. This is not an uncommon scenario, and in most cases, your package will show up.
Here’s why, and what you can do:
- Sometimes the shipping carrier may mark packages as “delivered” prematurely. Give them a few days to complete the delivery.
- Shipping carrier staff may put packages in different places, or purposefully choose an obscure location to keep it safe. Try expanding your search.
- If you’re not home to receive the package, carriers may intentionally leave your package with a neighbor. Consider asking around.
- The shipping carrier may have accidentally delivered it to the wrong address. A good samaritan may make it right.
If you purchased Route Shipping Protection and it’s been more than 5 days since your order was marked delivered and you still cannot find your package, please file your claim as “stolen” so we can resolve your issue.
Note: You will be unable to file a claim ahead of the 5-day wait-to-file period due to the likelihood that your package will appear, as in the scenarios above.
If you did not purchase Route Shipping Protection, your best bet is to contact the shipping carrier responsible for delivering your package.
